Network of American Universities (NAU) is a not-for-profit consortium of progressive and innovative universities across the Americas. Its members are committed to providing access to a top-quality and affordable higher education for all qualified students in the Western hemisphere. NAU institutions recognize that all knowledge has become global and digital and that remarkable advances in technology enable unprecedented access across the world, putting almost all knowledge at the fingertips of every citizen. Members also recognize that technology must play a critical role in any sustainable higher education model going forward.

All NAU members in North America are public universities. In Latin America, members include both not-for-profit and private institutions. Collaboration between member universities includes sharing of new learning technologies and work on initiatives that improve academic quality, provide affordability and expand access. Members also collaborate on marketing, student recruitment, social missions and the exchange of students, professors and academic programs.
