Online learning is the most important advancement in the dissemination of knowledge in centuries. It makes it possible for post-secondary institutions to dramatically increase access while maintaining undiminished quality.

NAU assists its member universities with converting their traditional degree programs into an online format and translating their courses into the Western hemisphere’s three major languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese. It also assists in the establishment of the infrastructure necessary to launch and operate successful distance learning programs by member institutions. NAU considers online learning a core competency and it tracks all developments in the field on a daily basis.
